I Finally Caved in and Purchased, The Results, SO WORTH IT!!!

Purchases That Were So Worth It

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I finally caved in and purchased both GLAMGLOW super mud clearing mask and the PROACTIV skincare set. You don't realize how much I'm kicking myself in the ass for not taking before and after pictures for this blog post!!! I've been wanting to buy GLAMGLOW for YEARSSS but the price held me back. And as for PROACTIV, I've just been so skeptical for the longest time that I just tried everything else under the soon. I think what finally drove me to just go for it, was my roommate Lacey, who swears by it and has been using PROACTIV for years. I was getting too jealous of seeing the bottles in the bathroom cabinet, and constantly thinking, 'Jade, why are you waiting so long to have pretty skin again?' I bought both within the last month and HOLY CRAP I have new skin!!! If you know me, I'm pretty serious about my skincare because I have a very disciplined morning and night routine. DO NOT EVER SLEEP IN YOUR MAKEUP!!!! I had a lot of trouble with acne on my cheeks that would never go away. I would get rid of a pimple just for three more to show up. If you have ever trusted my recommendations before, this is one to try!!! I am astonished in the change of my complexion to the point where I don't feel the need to put makeup on every single day!!! Be prepared, this was a VERY VERY VERY highly recommended post. I'm so glad I finally decided to do this post because let be real, skin care is the most important part in beauty. It is the first step to achieve perfect looking skin with and without makeup.  So, I went into a lot of detail with extensive information in the hopes of answering as many questions as possible!!!

I hope you enjoy the post and please feel free to leave ANY comments, concerns, suggestions or questions down below!!! I love hearing feedback from readers. Really motivates me to continue to do this more, even though I love it so much to begin with!!!

  • GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment-$69
Sephora, Dillards, and Online $69

Trust me, I know the price is scary....really I know, but this will save your LIFE if you have any kind of troubled skin!!! I promise you that you will see a difference after the first use!!!! It goes on a deep dark grey color and dries to a light grey finish, but here's the fun part, all the excess oil and gunk that it draws out is shows with dots all over your face! It is so neat, and this really shows you how much it actually works. You can use it as an all over mask as well as a spot treatment on problem areas. I would recommend applying the mask 2-3 times a week, and you will not be disappointed!!!

  • PROACTIV Plus Acne Treatment- $20 (Month's Worth)
Online- Proactiv.com $20 Free Shipping

Online- Proactiv, com Free Gift With Purchase
Everyone has seen PROACTIV commercials and have almost been sucked in because of  Adam Levine I know, lol!!! My biggest issues were that I was scared it would either dry out my skin, not work, or it would be overrated and not worth it! I'm here to tell you, this system COMPLETELY cleared up my skin in under a week!!!! I shit you not, lol, I walk around making people feel my face because it is so soft!!! The system I selected came with the Skin Smoothing Exfoliator, the Pore Targeting Treatment, the Complexion Perfection Hydrator, the Dark Spot Corrector, and the Skin Purifying Mask. I do have dark spots on my cheek area so stay tuned for when I have a review after I see some changes. It's a super simple 3 step cleansing system that should be done every morning and night, which you know I'm all about, haha. My skin went from acne city and both uneven texture and color to baby soft with just a few scars from years of acne(they aren't SUPER dark or anything.) I'm going to continue to use the entire regimen for about a month longer and then follow up with an updated post.

--The Rest Of My Skin Care Regimen--

I guess I can include the other products in my skin care regimen in case anyone is curious. So, in conjunction with these products, I also use Clean & Clear's Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer, Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Energy Boosting Moisurizer with Mangosteen, Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel, and Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. Holy crap, I never realized how much I must adore Origins skin care line, haha wow!!! But, I can honestly say, they are holy grail status!!!

  • Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer- $7
Any Drugstore and Online $7

This is the moisturizer that I put on before bed after all the PROACTIV products. There is a moisturizer with the PROACTIV set, but like I said before, I am terrified that the system would dry out my skin. Let's be honest, you can never OVER moisturize. I really like this moisturizer. I've been using it for several months. I like that it has salicydic acid in it to treat acne while I sleep. It's not too heavy, and it soaks in quickly, but it still gets the job done! I have no complaints for the drug store moisturizer.

Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Energy Boosting Moisurizer- $36
Sephora, Dillards(Origins Counter) and Online $36

This is the moisturizer I use every day before applying my makeup! It might be weird, but I LOVE the way this line of products smell. It's almost like citrusy, just makes you fell awake. This moisturizer has the tiniest sheer tint that is hardly noticeable and is undetectable once blended in. It is FABULOUS under foundation and actually, it makes the foundation go on smoother which ends up making your entire face look 100x better!!! This stays in my makeup bag and I would be very sad without it!!! Totally recommend checking this out for an everyday moisturizer because hey it even has an SPF if you are going out in the sun!!!

Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel- $15.50

Sephora Dillards(Origins Counter) and Online $15.50

This product is probably not a surprise to anyone that knows me because I have been both using this product as well as RAVING about it for YEARS now!!! I think I actually started using this product back in like 2009. Truthfully, nothing compares. I have tried others, high end and drug store, but I continue to come back to this treasure. I'm pretty sure I will repurchase this until I either die or Origins discontinues it, which in return, will lead to my death, lol!!! It's so easy, after washing your face apply this to a spot before moisturizer and go right on to bed. You will wake up with the bump or pimple dramatically smaller if not gone. Just hush it and go buy it. It's really not expensive, and it will last you forever!!!

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream- $30
Sephora Dillards(Origins Counter) and Online $30

This is the perfect eye cream for teenagers or those in their early 20s that are looking for an eye cream that just going to shoot moisture in the under eye area. When you're this young, it's not really time to start with anti-aging chemical infused products. Our main focus should just be on keeping everything extremely hydrated. In return, this is actually the first part in the "anti-aging" process. The GinZing eye cream, like the moisturizer, has that citrus scent that makes you feel awake and ready to start the day. I use this both when I'm getting ready before make up and before bed. It's wonderful!!! When I was shopping around for good eye creams and doing all my research, I found out that this eye cream was for depuffing eyes and reducing dark circles under the eyes. I was sold right there and then read more and found out that one of the main ingredients is caffeine from coffee beans. I was like 'STOP TALKING AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!' No regrets here!!!!

Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to read this quite lengthy blog post. I'm so glad that you made it all the way to the end. Really means the world to me!!!
