BEST OF BEAUTY 2013 - FACE

Well, another year has gone by and my has it been a great one, especially in the beauty department. There has been TONS of new products that have been added to my collection. Here are a few either staple items in my collection, or product discoveries that have changed my life, lol. I characterized them by face and my favorite topic of all, LIPS! This is just the face products. I will have an entire post about my favorites of lips of 2013!!!! Hope you enjoy and let me know your favorites of the year because I love trying new products!!!

1. Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme Foundation   $45- Sephora
If you have dry skin, this foundation is AMAZING!!! Fantastic coverage and all day moisture!!!

2. Loreal Visible Lift Foundation   $11- Drugstores (One with brush is discontinued)
This is by far my favorite foundation of all year!!! EXCELLENT coverage!! PERFECT COLOR MATCH!! GREAT MOISTURE!!! Just an amazing foundation. Hands down my favorite!!

3. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation    $37-  Sephora and Counters
If you have an event to attend, this should be your go to foundation. It will not budge!! It will cover anything and everything you do not want to be seen. Matte finish so make sure to moisturize intensely. Just plain fabulous.

4. Loreal True Match Foundation     $9 - Drugstores
This foundation is a staple foundation in both my kit and personal collection. I wear this foundation pretty much every day. It is a medium to full coverage foundation that is def buildable and sets to a very natural finish. I cannot say enough great things about this foundation. I recommend this foundation to everyone who has both dry and oily skin. TERRIFIC!!! GO TRY IT!!! HUGE COLOR SELECTION.

5. MAC Prolongwear Concealer       $19- MAC Counters
If you don't own this, what are you waiting for!?!? This will both spot conceal and work perfectly under the eyes. You can use this for both concealing and highlighting. It is a completely creaseless concealer that has an advanced technology that prevents the concealer from settling into fine lines and wrinkles.

6. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer       $5- Drugstores
This concealer has become my go to concealer of 2013. For being $5, this really does feel like a luxurious concealer. It is thin in consistency, but so creamy and covers  flawlessly. It doesn't settle into my fine lines and brightens up the under eyes great!!

7. MAC Powder Blush in Melba   $21 - MAC Counters
This creamy warm toned peachy pink is beautiful. It is a matte blush, but, to me, it almost has a satin finish. I love this blush and wore it almost every day in 2013. It gives the cheeks just a beautiful flush!!

8. MAC Powder Blush in Dame    $21 - MAC Counters
Another matte blush that is my go-to blush. This blush will go with ANY look from a deep, dark smokey eye to a simple everyday look. This is probably my most worn blush of 2013. I also used this on many clients throughout the year because it works so well with so many skin tones.

9. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee    $6  - Makeupgeek.com
FAVORITE EYESHADOW OF 2013!!! HANDS DOWN!!! B E A U T I F U L warm medium peach color. PERFECT for a transition color on the eyes. There aren't enough compliments in the world I could give to this shadow. THE EXACT SAME CONSISTENCY AS MAC FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE. I would recommend this to any and everyone. REALLY, GO GET IT!!!

10. MAC Eyeshadow in Brown Script   $15  - MAC Counters
Dark warm brown that is beautiful for the crease or darkening the outer corner. I eyed this shadow for EVER until I finally just bit the bullet and got it! NO REGRETS HERE. Beautiful color and so buttery it's crazy.

11. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Beaches and Cream   $6   - Makeupgeek.com
This is the perfect all over matte lid color ever. It is a creamy color with warmer undertones. It is a staple shadow in my kit and personal collection. Basic but I still love it!!

12. MAC 224 Blending Brush    $32  - MAC Counters
I know what you're going to say, "$32 for a makeup brush!!??" I know, I know, but really there is no other brush out there that does what this brush does, I PROMISE!! My mission is to find a dupe for this brush. It blends shadows out immaculately!!!!! PERFECTION FOR REAL!!!!!!

13. Maybelline The Rocket Volume Mascara   $6   - Drugstores
If you know me, I have the straightest, thinnest, gimp lashes in the world. I do use the waterproof formula because it holds my curl, but I have used this on countless clients and it has never failed me. To this day, it is still my go to mascara. Nothing does what this mascara can do!!

14. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer   $30  - Sephora
This is the perfect contour powder bronzer in my opinion. Not too warm, not too cool. Completely matte and oh if I forgot, IT SMELLS TO DIE FOR!!!! JUST LIKE HOT COCOA!!!

15. Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette    $27 - Sephora and Ulta
I have used this palette so much, I hit pan on 4 of the 6 shadows. This is a palette that can be used for everyday wear perfectly. It has a yellow toned matte, pink toned matte, cool light brown transition color, neutral medium brown (my brows) a matte black (linerrrr) and a shimmery white shadow. I would 100% recommend this to all beginners!! You def get a bang for your buck!

16. Urban Decay Original Primer Potion   $20  - Sephora and Ulta
I don't think this tube will ever end with the small amount you need for one eye!! Your eyeshadow will not budge, crease, wearoff or anything with this stuff!! Talk about heavy duty. MAKEUP STAPLE EASY!!!!

17. Tweezers   $3   - Sally's Beauty Supply
Another staple and if you know me, I am a brow fanatic. I have an entire blog post about brows, go check it out. If you don't own a pair of tweezers, I am so sorry!!

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed sharing this post with yall!! Let me know what you want to see next!! I love hearing from you guys!!!
